Coach Peaster was born in Sidney, NY but was raised in Downsville, NY.  He graduated from Downsville Central School in 2002 where he was a 3 sport athlete in soccer, basketball and baseball.  Coach Peaster was a three year varsity basketball starter. He received honors and achievements such as Most Outstanding 3-point Shooter, school record holder for 3-pointers with 140, was a member of the Back 2 Back NYS Section IV Championship team (46-3 record), and received the Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award. 

 

Coach Peaster acquired his coaching certification and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill (Cobleskill, NY) with my A.A. in Physical Education in May 2004. From there, he attended Daniel Webster College (Nashua, NH) where he played Division III basketball for the Eagles from 2004-06.  Coach Peaster graduated from DWC in May 2007 with my B.S. in Business Management, majoring in Sport Management. During his studies he completed an internship at the Whittemore Center Arena on the campus of UNH in Durham, NH in Marketing. Coach Peasters aspirations are to coach basketball at the collegiate level while working in a college Athletic Department.

 

Coach Peasters coaching experience began in 2002 as a coach for 5th and 6th grade youth basketball at DCS, which his younger sister Katelynn was a member of. In the 2006-07 season he was head coach at Nashua High School North for Freshmen Girls Basketball, where his recorded was 15-2 record.  2006 Coach Peaster was hired as the co head of the 15U Northeastern Lady Panthers, who were the 2007 Runner-up at the NEAAU NH State Championship Tournament.
